Perhaps no other real estate agent in New York combines the design aesthetic, the business experience, and the work ethic of Jeanne Byers. She doesn’t dabble in real estate. She’s a tireless professional, pursuing excellence in the properties she deals with and in the relationships she builds.
Her trained eye, energy and quality orientation are great advantages to buyers and renters who depend on her to sift through what’s out there and to match homes to their tastes and requirements. She’s an equally vital asset to sellers for whom she brings to bear her expertise in marketing developed over years as an art director in the advertising business.
As Executive Creative Director/EVP of Arnold/New York, Jeanne handled multi-million dollar budgets, ran a department of forty people and was responsible for the creative work done for all clients. In a business with its share of the average, her creativity and business acumen garnered international design awards.
Jeanne’s lifelong passion for New York real estate and its neighborhoods comes from first hand experience living and working on the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, Gramercy Park, in Soho, Midtown, the West Village and Chelsea. She sat on the board of her co-op building so she’s familiar with both sides of home purchasing. Recently, she renovated, ran and sold a hotel in Massachusetts. She currently owns an apartment on East 72nd Street as well as a two-hundred-year old home in Sherman, Connecticut.
Jeanne graduated Tufts University with a degree in English/Art History. She loves yoga, movies, and all animals. She’s the founder/designer of the company of pets.com which was featured in the New York Times and Vogue Magazine. Her daughter, Amanda, is a sophomore at Pace University, and her husband, Bruce, is a photographer. (
