If you are in good hands, the real estate experience should be as seamless as possible. Galiya Valerio has an affinity for spaces, and a natural flair for finding people solutions.
"I enjoy viewing apartments and visualizing the different ways in which they can become homes for my clients. Not every space is right for an individual, but through careful listening and extensive research, the best match can be found for their needs with a dedicated professional's help!"
Galiya is that professional, and wants to assist you too. With a prior background in sales and customer service in the classical music world, she is accustomed to facilitating important decisions and helping individuals make major strides in their lives. These seasoned skills were honed representing and managing world-renowned musicians including opera singers, conductors and others. Galiya was involved in all aspects of their careers, from booking concerts and negotiating contracts to selling talent and advising artists. She enjoys playing the same vital role in her real estate clients' lives, building the strong professional relationships she has always enjoyed.
Born and raised in Paris, Galiya visited her American grandparents in New York every summer growing up. She is fully bilingual in French and English. She ultimately moved to NYC in 1998 to pursue her career as an artist manager/agent. Galiya currently owns co-ops on the Upper West Side which she rents out, and in Chelsea where she resides. She has also lived in and owned a co-op on the Upper East Side. "While I've enjoyed living in and exploring different parts of the city, I am fascinated by the ways in which it is constantly evolving. No matter where you are, Chelsea, Soho or Inwood, there are always new restaurants, shops and cultural opportunities to explore. I love that each neighborhood has its own personality, but the common denominator is the energy that makes New York City so unique."
