Senior Managing Director Beatriz Vidal has played an essential role in building Citi Habitats’ thriving West Village office. Armed with a proven background in sales, she knows there is simply no substitute for service – a philosophy she instills in all her agents, and believes is paramount to their success.

Once herself an award-winning agent in the West Village office she now capably leads, Beatriz no longer actively sells; yet she is a vital force not only in the everyday operations of the branch, but in making sure every sales and rental transaction is seamless. As importantly, she is a talented team builder who is there to train, troubleshoot, and take care of what every agent – new and experienced – needs to grow their business.

Through her personal coaching and focused in-house training, Beatriz is intent on helping her agents learn; though she just as much enjoys the fact that she also learns something new from them each day. "Having an agent work for you is a luxury, and a privilege,” says Beatriz, who values her agents’ opinions and loyalty. “Citi Habitats provides an environment with great support and the best training program in all of New York City, and I’m happy and proud to be part of such a phenomenal team.”

Having worked for five different offices in the company since starting at Citi Habitats in 2003, Beatriz has an extensive knowledge of what it takes to excel. She boasts a fine reputation among her agents, as well as her industry peers. Plus she enjoys very strong relationships with a wealth of connections throughout the city ranging from landlords to owners, who she still serves by matching the best agent for their needs.

In her career, Beatriz always made sure to familiarize herself with all New York City neighborhoods, from the Upper East Side to Tribeca. By thinking on the broad scale, she now applies this diverse approach to educate her agents on each neighborhood and all their unique buildings. “Knowing inventory, and doing your homework and legwork, is truly key.”

Jersey born and Florida raised, Beatriz completed high school and college in Florida. She has lived in New York for over a decade, and is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
