Question:

Given the current economic climate, what advice do you give to clients interested in renting an apartment in Manhattan?

Without doubt it’s an amazing time to rent an apartment.

There are plenty of apartments to choose from, and certain owners may be  willing to pay for your moving expenses or broker fees. Deals that may include one to two months free rent are being given out as well.  You put that all together it’s a no brainer!  Prices have come down as well, giving you an opportunity to get even a larger space for your budget.

One good piece of advice is to ask your agent to look out for the latest price reduction list as certain apartments are being priced 20% below market and wind up renting really fast so be prepared to act quickly!
