Each month, Citi Blog will profile a new Citi Habitats agent.  We will ask them 20 questions about their background, hobbies and real estate career.  This week, the spotlight's on Elizabeth Hamersley of the Flatiron/Gramercy Office...

Q. Where were you born and raised?

 

Exciting Hollywood…..  FL!

 

Q. If NYC was to fall off the map, where would you relocate?

Either London, L.A. or Miami…  I’m a city girl!

Q. Where do you live now?

 

Chelsea/Flatiron

 

Q. What’s one of your guilty pleasures?

 

Scrubs

Q. What was your first job?

 

Sweater folder @ Abercrombie & Fitch at the Governor’s Square Mall in Tallahassee, FL.

 

Q. What advice would you share with newcomers to the real estate field?

Never give up.  Being a broker can be challenging in the beginning, but work hard and stick with it...also, try to wake up before noon.

Q. Finish the sentence:  In high school, I was in the ______ team/club.

 

Volleyball and softball teams

 

Q.  What made you pursue a career in real estate?

 

A great example to follow (my sister) and a lot of luck!

Q. What college did you attend?  Tell us a little about the experience.

 

The University of Florida, it was the best four years of college I could have asked for.

 

Q. What’s your favorite place you’ve travelled to?

 

Most recently: Thailand.  My sister and I went to Bangkok where we saw many things we never saw before, and should not be discussed in this forum. 

We ended the trip at a 3 day Indian wedding at the JW Marriott in Phuket, which was the nicest hotel we’ve ever seen…  the highlight of the trip by far.

 

Q. What actor would play you in your autobiography?

Q. Who is your hero, or someone you admire greatly?

 

Max Azria

Q.  Do you have a hidden talent?

 

Yes… but it must remain hidden.

 

Q. What’s your favorite movie?

 

Tie: Swingers and The Boondock Saints

Q. Finish the sentence: If I wasn’t a superstar real estate broker, I would be…

 

A trophy wife

 

Q. What is your favorite NYC restaurant?

 

There are too many to name, but one is BLT Prime.  I also love all things sushi.

Q.  What song do you have a hard time getting out of your head once it’s there?

 

“Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey

 

Q.  What’s your favorite building in New York…  Residential or otherwise?

 

My condo.  Pool party at my place!

Q. What achievement in your career are you the most proud of?

 

6 years in the business!

 

Q.  Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?

 

Probably still at Citi Habitats, or on a beach somewhere.
